I got these files from Giuseppe Liuzzo , who saved this firmware of his plastic C128D to disk after instructions I gave him. After some rearrangement of data, the following files resulted: characters.italian.bin an image of the character ROM, labeled: 325167-01 C128 char I/F/B This suggests that the same ROM was used for Italian, French and Belgic localizations. Confirmed by comparison to characters.french.bin editor.italian.bin editor part of the kernal ROM, part number information is not yet available. kernalpart.italian.bin kernal part of the kernal ROM. part number information is not yet available. The BASIC ROM found in this machine is the first version, the contents match 318022-01. I converted these files into VICE x128 format and tested the keyboard layout, it is the same as the one on the "mystery" Italian keyboard on: http://www.chemie.uni-konstanz.de/~welte/cbm/keyboards.html
